The Wolverton Town Centre Neighbourhood Plan has been published by Milton Keynes Council and will be available for a final round of comment for six weeks between Wednesday 7th January and Wednesday 18th January 2015.
For further information on the consultation, including how to make comments, and to read the submitted plan and its accompanying documents, please go to our website at http://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/planning-and-building/planning-policy/wolverton-neighbourhood-plan.
Alternatively, the consultation documents are available to view during normal opening hours at the Wolverton Library in Creed Street; Central Milton Keynes Library on Silbury Boulevard; and Milton Keynes Council’s Civic Offices.
Following this stage, any comments received by the Council will be passed to an independent person who will examine the plan, to consider whether the plan has met the basic conditions for a neighbourhood plan; that it satisfies the legal requirements for a neighbourhood plan; and to identify an appropriate area for the referendum. As part of that process, the Examiner will decide if the plan should proceed to the Referendum stage, where local residents will have the opportunity to vote on whether the Wolverton Town Centre Neighbourhood Plan should be ‘made’, and used in the determination of planning applications in the area.
